Ouleye ndoye biography of william
The Rev. Raphael G. Warnock, senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and Ouleye Ndoye were wed publicly on Valentine’s Day at the Auburn Avenue church.
They initially wed in a private ceremony last month in Danforth Chapel on the campus of Morehouse College, Warnock’s alma mater. Many Morehouse men and Spelman College women have married there.
“I’ve waited a long time for this moment and I’ve worked hard for a long time,” he said Saturday. “It’s exciting to finally give more attention to my personal life.”

Learning how to engage with the media from Richard Tofel – an interview with Ouleye Ndoye
In fall 2023, the Center for Health Communication at Harvard Chan School offered a course called SBS 225 | Engaging the Press: A Practical look at Health Communication, taught by former news executive Richard (Dick) Tofel, who co-founded and served as president of ProPublica. We asked student Ouleye Ndoye, who is completing her DrPH degree, what she learned from the course.
Were you excited to take this course?
To tell you the truth, when this course was added to our requirements, I was not happy about it. Prior to taking this class, if you had asked me how to engage with the press, I’d have said, “Don’t!” I did not want to take a course about the press. However, I absolutely loved this class, and it ended up becoming one of my favorites at Harvard Chan School.
What has this course taught you?
It taught me how to engage with reporters, how to approach an interview, and how to prepare everything from my appearance to my words. It also taught me how to look at a media encounter from the perspective of everyone involved, from the reporter to the audience and the agency or organization you represent.
One of the biggest lessons I learned about communicating science to the press and the public is that it’s OK to say that information is still developing, and we don’t have all the answers. During the peak of COVID in 2020, many people pretended they knew what we should do next, when in fact, the science was changing every day. This class gave us time to take a step back, share what each of us saw as the pandemic unfolded across the country, and talk about it with some of the people who were making decisions about how to communicate information at the time.
What lesson surprised you the most?
That you can follow up with a reporter afterward and ask certain questions in advance to prepare. I might have not felt comfortable doing that in the past. I Democrat Raphael Warnock has been resorting to a lot of muckraking and mud slinging in his bid for reelection to the U.S. Senate. He has attacked the character of his Republican challenger Herschel Walker in a smear campaign intended to detract from the real issues that Americans face every day. Since President Biden has been in office, he and the Democrats have spent $3.9 TRILLION to ramp up the economy. Inflation has ballooned and middle-class Americans are feeling the squeeze. Wages are not keeping pace with the cost of living, and you can forget about buying a house right now. Can you even afford gas to go to work? By the way, who is going to pay for all of the Democrats’ rampant spending? You guessed it, the American taxpayer and his or her descendants — for a long, long time. The question is, are we better off under the Biden administration? The answer is painfully obvious. No! Democrats would have us believe that the Economic Recovery Act has curbed inflation, but in fact it has energized inflation! Warnock is a part of all this smoke and mirrors spending act, and the scary thing is he wants to continue to be a part of the nation’s downhill slide. Attacks on Herschel Walker In his attempt to skirt the real issues, Warnock is bringing up Herschel Walker’s mental health and domestic and workplace violence. Herschel Walker acknowledges his past struggles; he has not tried to hide them. His response to those attacks was humble and sincere. He said that God saved Herschel Walker, and there is no higher authority to whom we all answer than He is. Herschel Walker and his ex-wife have spoken together publicly about their experience with mental illness, and Walker considers them to be 'best friends' today. He even wrote a book in 2008 about his dissociative identity disorder and his treatment. He has since been an advocate for mental health awareness and says he will continue to push to expand mental health resource American pastor and politician (born 1969) The Reverend Raphael Warnock Official portrait, 2021 Incumbent Serving with Jon Ossoff Raphael Gamaliel Warnock Oulèye Ndoye Raphael Gamaliel Warnock (RAH-fee-el WOR-nok; born July 23, 1969) is an American Baptistpastor and politician serving as the juniorUnited States senator from Georgia since 2021.
