Cal thomas biography

Cal Thomas was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He left his homeland at the age of nine to attend various boarding schools in the United States, living in Florida, Connecticut and California before attending college in Massachusetts and moving to New York to pursue his acting career.

After arriving in Los Angeles in 2002, Cal began writing. His first screenplay, "Rubi", led to a collaboration with producers Sergio Aguero and Lynnette Ramirez on the romantic comedy "Lover's Block". Cal was then hired to adapt the French film "Dis-moi oui" for the American market. In 2003, he formed Red Jacket Productions. His first project as a producer, titled "The Last Race", resurrected the love story between James Dean and Pier Angeli. The project, viewed by then-Paramount Chief Sherry Lansing, led to Cal's consideration for the role of Prince Edvard in "The Prince and Me".

In 2004, Cal accepted a role in "Afterthought". He played Elliott Smithe, a Columbine-type serial killer. The role led to an offer from Kalpana Singh-Chitnis for a role in "Adios, Mi Amigo", an epic story of American immigration. Cal plays Jose, a Mexican immigrant crossing the border illegally with his son and best friend in the early 1970s. The role in "Afterthought" also led to a cameo as an undercover police officer in the urban drama "Patrol", which was completed in 2006. That same year, Cal wrote "Penance", a thriller about a serial killer who gets his victims to kill themselves as a penance for their own sins.

In 2007, Cal relocated to the Principality of Monaco. He splits his time between Los Angeles and Monaco.

In the past 40 years we have tried everything as a people in a sincere effort to solve some major problems. These have included bigger government and the higher taxes and increased spending that support it, to more recent proposals for smaller government, lower taxes and less spending. We have tried "alternative lifestyles" and different living arrangements, two income families in order to keep up with what culture dictates are our needs, while often ignoring what we and our increasingly neglected children really need. Now, our children are exacting revenge. At the extreme they are shooting other children in school. According to Time magazine, elementary school children are now engaging in sex with no remorse and no sense that what they are doing is wrong or even bad for them.
