  • Showtek is a duo consisting of brothers Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen from the Netherlands.

    History[]

They began producing music in 2001. Starting out with techno and subsequently moving to hardstyle, they quickly built a name for themselves in the hard dance scene, with tracks such as "FTS" and "Colours of the Harder Styles", subsquently releasing the album Analogue Players In A Digital World.

In 2012, Showtek quit the hardstyle scene and started producing house tracks. According to them, "We didn't really feel at home anymore in the hard scene, and in fact we hadn't for some time. We needed a change. Now, it feels like we're doing the right thing. And if we're happy, the fans can be happy. We definitely made the right choice."
