MyMusic season 2

Season of television series

The second season of The Fine Brothers' web series MyMusic premiered on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Unlike with the first season, which had its episodes uploaded to the MyMusicShowYouTube channel, the second season was uploaded to the TheFineBros channel.

Plot

Following the burning of the MyMusic building at the conclusion of the first season, Indie has the MyMusic team returning to its roots. Indie also has the MyMusic crew focusing more on social media and the MyMusic blog.

Announcement and production

In May 2013, the Fine Brothers announced the second season of MyMusic, having released an announcement video on the MyMusicShow channel.

The Fine Brothers were cited saying "We had an overwhelming fan response in Season 1 and we definitely couldn’t have made it to a second season without their viewership and participation."

The production of the second season began on May 14, 2013, with filming taking place at YouTube Space LA.

The Fine Brothers have also been releasing several photos, daily, of production. Videos, or "Production Diaries", have also been released on TheFineBros2, weekly.

The second season saw Lee Newton and Paul Butcher join the MyMusic cast. Toby Turner was also announced to reprise his role as Satan. A production diary video was uploaded featuring Lee Newton as Country, confirming reports that she would be joining the cast, as well as featuring Harley Morenstein as Jesus.

The extended trailer for Season 2, posted on TheFineBros YouTube channel on July 30, revealed the season would begin on August 20.

The budget for MyMusic is "nothing close to a TV size budget."

There will be sitcom versions of the arc episodes after all the webisodes air. The Fine Brothers confirmed this in their vlog, Fine Tim

Insane Wife! is the fifty-first episode of MyMusic (show). In this episode, Metal's wife, Tina, is constantly going through mood swings during the pregnancy while trying to find ways to see Metal at work, and Indie looks through several replacements for Intern 2.

Plot[]

After Metal filmed Techno & Dubstep for The Mosh, Tina comes in for a "kissy". But when Metal refuses, Tina's mood swings kicks in, in which Metal scarily gives in. At first, after Metal kisses her, Tina looks at the color of the wall, the mood swings kicks again, saying it wants her to kill four people, in which she then leaves.

Meanwhile, Scene is seen upset about the fact that Intern 2 is leaving, and wonders what the company Intern 2 is going is getting that MyMusic isn't giving. When Intern 2 tells her money, Scene says that she doesn't need money because she has candy, to which she gets from her Twitter (officially known as X since July 2023) followers. Indie, however, is satisfied at the fact Intern 2 is leaving. Thus, he decides to hire a new intern before Intern 2 leaves so Indie can fire him. Many of the competitors are Rayna (who confuses Indie because she quit from the previous episode), Viking, Leader, Vampire Temp, Satan, and boy band IM5, whom, apparently, thought were auditioning for a gig. Over the end slate, Country reminds the viewers to follow the staff on social media accounts.

Techno & Dubstep (portrayed by Tania Gunadi and Chris Clowers) are the two talent bookers at MyMusic. The two, hence their names, are addicted to techno and dubstep music, and think that flashing lights, glow sticks, and dance parties are the answer to everything .

Dubstep speaks in beatboxes, and only Techno can understand him.

The two were hired and made the company grow fast by designing their official website before it closed down.

Many fans speculate that Techno and Dubstep have a romantic liking to each other, as they seem to have the closest relationship out of all the rest of the crew and are the most often seen together.

    Background[]

Techno and Dubstep first met in Japan. It was later revealed that they were two of Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Girls, early in her solo career.

    Biography[]

    Season One[]

Techno and Dubstep were hired as talent bookers for MyMusic to manage what was broadcasted on the website, and according to Techno in the pilot episode, It Begins Again, "once Indie and Idol brought us on, the company grew fast!". However, the website shortly shut down after their arrival, and the company fell into bankruptcy. Fortunately, Idol presented MyMusic with a new Youtube channel and partnership, and Techno and Dubstep quickly resumed their jobs. Later on in the conference room concerning MyMusic Live, Techno suggested showcasing a dance party, but Indie disapproved and claimed he didn't want the viewers to have too much fun.

Sooner or later after the multiple personality Scene madness, Indie decides to leave for a convention and puts Idol in charge, but Metal takes a stand. Before this though, when Techno a

    MyMusic

2012 American TV series or program

MyMusic is an American web transmedia mockumentary sitcom created by the Fine Brothers that premiered on April 15, 2012, on the MyMusicShow YouTube channel. The series follows a group of co-workers that are employed under a music production company. MyMusic is the first transmedia sitcom on YouTube. The series was part of YouTube's Original Channel Initiative.

    Premise

MyMusic was the primary series that aired on the MyMusicShow YouTube channel. It documented the antics of MyMusic, a transmedia production company where, rather than referring to each other by name, the staff go by the varying music genres with which they associate. CEO and founder Indie heads the team, which consists of people following extremely different–and frequently conflicting–tastes and attitudes. The company claims to have been given the YouTube original channel, which brings along with it a documentary crew filming them day to day.

The second season picks up following the burning of the MyMusic building at the conclusion of the first season. After this fire, Indie has the MyMusic team returning to its roots, as well as focus more on social media and the MyMusic blog.
