    Falguni Pathak was born on March 12, 1969, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is the youngest of five daughters. She started learning music at a young age and was trained in classical and folk singing. She also took part in various interschool and intercollege music competitions and won several prizes.

    At the tender age of 9, Falguni Pathak made her first public performance on the INS Udaigiri Ship on the eve of India’s Independence Day. She sang “Laila O Laila” from the film Qurbani.
